About the Role
We are seeking experienced and motivated Site Managers to oversee commercial fit-out projects across the UK. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Our projects primarily involve retail shop and supermarket fit-outs, often within live trading environments, so previous experience in this sector is highly desirable.
This role will involve working away from home on a regular basis. All accommodation costs are covered, and a company van can be provided if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities from start to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
- Supervise subcontractors and site operatives
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project management teams
- Complete site documentation, reports, and progress updates
- Resolve site issues efficiently and professionally
- Ensure works are carried out in line with project specifications and industry standards
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out projects
- Experience managing retail shop and supermarket fit-outs
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
- Own tools
- Valid and up-to-date site certification, including:
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Any other relevant industry certificates
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple trades on site
Desirable Requirements
- Carpentry background or trade qualification

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Self-Employed Carpenter / Joiner to support a range of residential construction, renovation and refurbishment projects across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Surrey.
The successful candidate will be highly skilled in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, capable of working independently, managing their workload effectively, and consistently delivering a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
1st Fix Carpentry
- Stud walls and partitioning
- Floor joists and flooring structures
- Door linings and window frames
- Staircase installation
2nd Fix Carpentry
- Hanging internal and external doors
- Installing skirting boards, architraves and mouldings
- Fitted wardrobes and bespoke joinery
- Kitchen and utility room installations
- Ironmongery fitting
- Finishing works and snagging
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry/joinery
- Strong background working on residential properties, including new builds, extensions and refurbishments
- Valid CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Surrey
- Own tools and equipment suitable for all aspects of carpentry work
- Up-to-date industry certifications and qualifications
- Good knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Reliable, professional and quality-focused approach
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
- First Aid at Work Certificate
- PASMA and/or IPAF certification
